Internal Representation, released during the height of the “interactive movie” craze in the gaming industry, is significant for being the first game to use a real person (Victoria Morsell) in the role of a playable character. In 1996, a sequel called Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh was released after the original game came out in 1995. Phantasmagoria is a point-and-click adventure game with an interactive picture show format developed by Sierra Online for the PC and, later, the Sega Saturn in Japan.
